The first time I heard Tammy on the phone, I imagined she looked like Dolly Parton. Flashy clothes, big hair, designer purse. I imagine she had a slogan, and drove some fancy convertible. I mean, someone who is so financially savvy that they make it their career, must show it off in some way, right?

For anyone that has had the pleasure of meeting Tammy, I imagine you are rolling in your chair right now. As Tammy came to greet me for our first meeting together, she wore a pair of comfortable sweat pants, and introduced me to her dog, Bella. She had a kind, warm smile and a handshake to match. She admired my economically friendly car (that’s a nice way to say cheap, inexpensive car), and escorted me to her office in a casual way.

Once I was asked to make myself comfortable in her office, we began to converse about how we both had made it to this very moment in our lives. This may sound like a bizarre conversation to have with someone I just met, but Tammy made me feel open and comfortable and gives off such a relaxed, easy-to-talk-to vibe. For someone who is reading this, considering meeting with Tammy, the most important thing I want you to get from this is how easy it is to talk to her, about literally anything.

Tammy shared with me about her not-so-glamorous past, and how it has encouraged her and motivated her to start this business and become The Money Coach. Her life experiences are truly powerful, and I found it amazing that she was such an open book, but now, when I think about it – would I want a financial advisor that was anything else but an open book? If I am being so open and honest about my finances, my debt, my past, my future, wouldn’t I want to have the same type of relationship with my coach? If this is what you are looking for in a Money Coach, Tammy is your girl.

Needless to say, meeting Tammy Lally for the first time was not the experience I was expecting. She is so passionate about her job, helping people, and growing as a person, and it only took me one conversation to see this in her. Take the opportunity to meet her yourself, we’d love to hear your unbiased review!

Cheers,
